From SHS Golf: The SHS Boys and Girls Golf teams competed in the Central Illinois Conference Golf Tournament yesterday hosted by Sullivan High School at Eagle Creek Golf Course with both teams winning the tournament! The team score for the boys was 344 while the girls accumulated a team score of 436. Sullivan also had five members deemed all-conference due to their play yesterday; Caden Ellis (finished 1st overall in the tournament with a 77), Leighton Burcham, Aiden Short, Drew Rogers, and Addison Darush. Other individual scores with Sullivan were as follows:

From SMS Girls Basketball: The SMS girls basketball teams have hosted two games this past week. On Monday, they hosted Arcola Junior High School. The 7th grade Lady Redskins fell to Arcola by a score of 37-8. Chloe Smith led with 4 points, while Izzy Hay and Kylee Ragsdale each had two points. The 8th grade team was also defeated by Arcola 38-13. Lilly Null had 7 points, Skyla Palmer added 4 and Morgan Wallace had 2. Last night, the teams hosted Monticello. The 7th grade Lady Redskins fell to Monticello by a score of 34-2 with Chloe Smith having the lone basket for the team. The 8th Grade Lady Redskins lost to Monticello also 34-30. Lilly Null had 15 points, Skyla Palmer had 6 points, Kinley Hill added 4 points, Morgan Wallace finished with 3 points, and Caprice Smith added 2 points.
From SOV JV Football: This past Monday, the SOV JV football team picked up their first win of the season defeating Meridian High School by a score of 21-12. They will compete next on Monday at Clinton High School starting at 6:00 PM.

Sports boosters is in need of a volunteer to work concessions at the volleyball game tomorrow (9/28) starting at 6:00 PM in the SHS gym. Contact Karen Dyer at 217-620-8120 for more information.
The SOV Freshmen Football game will be played tomorrow night (9/28) at Okaw Valley High School in Bethany starting at 6:00 PM.
