Schedule Change: Due to a deep football playoff run, Pana is unable to field a basketball team for our 11/26 HS Boys Basketball game. No other opponent has been found, so unfortunately, this game has been cancelled.

The Lady Redskins start the season off right with a victory over Rochester, 50-42! Emily Miller and Shae Ellis led the way with 10 points each!

Some of these germs actually help us to stay healthy, while others make us sick if they multiply to dangerous levels." 🦠 Several NHS members wiped down desks in classrooms and other surfaces around school as part of our monthly service. The SHS Basketball Cheer Squad spent their Saturday afternoon stunting with alumni cheerleader and cheer coach Becca Caldwell. They worked hard and perfected a lot of skills.

The ELA Honor Society and NEHS Blankets and Towel Drive will be Monday, 11/18- Friday, 11/22. Community members may drop off in the SHS office. Thank you for helping us provide local homeless and animal shelters with extra blankets and towels this season!

SHS FCCLA hosted a Leaders-giving night that was attended by advisors and student leaders of several SHS organizations to further promote collaboration among leaders within our building. Those in attendance were FCCLA, FFA, NEHS, NHS, Spanish Club, Book Club, Red Cross Club, and FCA. Each officer team chose a word to live by for the year, highlighted their activities for the year, and talked about what sets them apart from other school groups. Leaders also participated in a team building activity and had time to reflect on the year within their Officer team.

The SHS Student Council attended the annual Eastern Illinois Association of Student Councils convention at EIU today. Senior Elise Fleming finished her term as district secretary and Sophomore Kaylee Smith was elected Vice President.

The SOV Football and Cheer Banquet will be held December 2nd at 6:00 pm at Building 1225. Please RSVP how many guests each player plans to bring to Mr. Huber huberc@sullivan.k12.il.us no later than November 25th
