Here are our SMS Track State Qualifiers! A total of 24 athletes being sent to the IESA State Track meet! This is the largest number we have sent in quite some time! These athletes will compete this Friday and Saturday at the EastSide Centre in East Peoria! Students in Mr. Webb's 8th grade social studies classes participated in a stock market simulation on Wednesday. This activity allows students to experience the investment market during the 1920s, including the effects of the Great Crash of 1929.

Colt Wilson broke the 8th grade 400m record held by Caden May (55.67) in 2009! Colt ran 55.36 today! #OneTribe

Collin Shain, Taevyn Dixon, Nixon Dundee, & Colt Wilson broke the 4x200 record for the 3rd time this season with a 1:41.87! #OneTribe

Avery Renfro broke the 8th grade 400m record held by K. Jurgens with 1:02.3 in 1982. Avery ran a 1:02.18 and now holds both the 7th and 8th 400m record! #OneTribe

Emma McCain, Emma Drake, Lyla Wright, and Avery Renfro broke their own 4x400 record for the 3rd time this year with a time of 4:24.56! #OneTribe

Congratulations to our SMS Track TEAM who had a great overall showing at last night's JHOC Conference Track Meet! The 7th and 8th Grade Girls teams both placed 1st overall and the 7th and 8th Grade Boys teams also placed 3rd overall at the meet! Way to go!! #OneTribe

SHS Future Educators had a great time touring and meeting with representatives of the University of Illinois College of Education today! We want to give a huge shoutout to Sullivan's former Library Media Specialist, Mrs. McClellan, for letting us crash her class and ask her undergraduate students some questions! We are thankful today and everyday for the opportunity to travel all over Central Illinois and showcase higher education opportunities to our students!

Good luck to our MS Scholastic Bowl team who competes in the Regional Tournament this evening @ Franklin STEAM Academy in Champaign! Sullivan has the #2 seed and will have a bye in the first round! They will start their evening in Round 2 vs St. Joseph @ approximately 5:15 PM. Go Redskins! #OneTribe

Colt Wilson was honored this afternoon at the IESA Celebration of Excellence in Bloomington as one of only fifteen Scholar Attitude Award Winners for the state of Illinois. He was joined by his parents, Jake and Heather Wilson, and Sullivan Middle School Principal Nathan Ogle. Way to go, Colt! We are #OneTribe!
